our story

This photo was taken the day we chose each other.

No audience. No expectations to meet. No moment engineered for anyone else’s approval. Just two people deciding to begin a life together in a way that felt true to us.

That was twelve years ago.

Since then, we’ve built a marriage. We’ve built a family. And time has only reinforced what we felt that day: the power of a wedding isn’t in how many people witness it, but in how deeply you’re present for it.

Madison Vow Co was born from that belief.

I created this space for couples who want their ceremony to feel grounded, meaningful, and quietly beautiful. For those who want to remember how it felt, not just how it looked. For those who know that the beginning matters.

This photo isn’t about Vegas.
It’s about intention.

And that’s where everything here begins.

about us

Lynette & Don-95.jpg

When I started planning my own wedding, I felt overwhelmed almost right away. Between raising kids, working, and trying to be mindful of our budget, planning a traditional wedding felt more stressful than exciting.

So we chose something different.

My husband and I decided to elope. We invited only our immediate family and stripped everything back to what truly mattered. There were no rigid timelines or expectations—just us, committing to forever, with the people we love most beside us.

That day felt completely like ours.

No pressure. No performing. Just presence, connection, and meaning.

That experience is why I believe so deeply in elopements and minimalist weddings. They create space to slow down and put yourselves first—to focus on your relationship instead of everything else that can take over a wedding day.

This business exists to give couples that same feeling: a calm, intentional day centered on what truly matters. Because your wedding shouldn’t feel like a test of how much you can handle—it should feel like the beginning of your marriage.

We’re Heather and Lynette—two sisters who created Madison Vow Co. because we believe weddings should be simple, meaningful, and centered on the couple.

We’ve both eloped ourselves, and those experiences shaped everything we do here. Heather eloped over a decade ago and has been married for 12 years. She’s a mom to two kids (8 and 5) and brings an organized, Type A, strategic mindset to the business—making sure every detail is thoughtfully planned so our couples don’t have to carry the weight of it.

Lynette eloped in 2022 and is a mom to two children (8 and 1). She is the Creative Director of Madison Vow Co., overseeing décor, web design, photography, and all things creative. As the photographer behind your ceremony—and the owner of Lynette Yahn Photography—she focuses on storytelling, emotion, and capturing the moments that truly matter.

Together, we wholeheartedly believe in elopements and minimalist weddings—not because they’re trendy, but because they create space for intention, ease, and connection. Our goal is to offer a wedding experience that feels calm, personal, and completely about you.
